ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The VFA Summer Games Gymnastics Competition invites young athletes to showcase their strength, balance, and creativity in a fun, high-energy competition. Open to both boys and girls, this event is designed for gymnasts currently enrolled in recreational or competitive programs — whether they’re rising stars or experienced competitors.
Athletes will compete in a supportive, festival-style environment with professional scoring, awards, and an audience cheering them on. This is not a formal USAG-sanctioned meet — it’s an independent championship designed to give every athlete a moment to shine.
WHO CAN COMPETE
- Open to boys and girls ages 6–15.
- Athletes must be enrolled in a gymnastics program, club, training center, or private coaching.
- This is a Competitive-Only event. Athletes must be able to safely complete routines on each apparatus.
- Divisions are based on both Skill Level and Age.
FORMAT
Girls Events:
- Vault
- Balance Beam
- Floor Exercise
- All-Around (Combined total score from all three events)
Boys Events:
- Vault
- Floor Exercise
- Pommel horse
- All-Around (Combined total score from both events)
