ABOUT THE COMPETITION

The Flag Football Tournament at the VFA Summer Games brings together the best young athletes from across the city for a high-energy, no-contact competition.

Whether you’re part of a school team, club, or an independent squad, this is your chance to compete for medals, glory, and bragging rights. Safe, fast-paced, and built for teamwork — this is where speed meets strategy.

WHO CAN COMPETE

  • Divisions: 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U
  • Recreational and Competitive divisions available
  • Players of all skill levels are welcome choose the division that fits your experience
  • Athletes may compete independently or represent a school, club, or academy
  • Proof of age and parental/guardian consent is required

FORMAT

  • 5-on-5 for both boys and girls
  • Single-elimination 
  • Standard flag football rules apply — no contact, no tackling.
  • Certified referees oversee all games.
  • Awards for Gold, Silver, and Bronze in each division.
