ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
The Basketball Tournament at Vegas Summer Games 2026 brings teams from across the city together for a fast-paced, high-energy competition.
Whether you play for a school, a club, or a community team, this event is all about teamwork, effort, and love for the game. It’s open to players of all skill levels and designed to be fun, competitive, and focused on growth both on and off the court.

Coaches register teams. Athletes pay individually.
Coaches register the team to secure a spot. After registration, coaches receive a private link to share with families so they can complete registration, payment, and waivers individually.

WHO CAN COMPETE
- Divisions: 13U, 15U, 17U
- Players of all skill levels are welcome
- Athletes may compete independently or represent a school, club, or academy
- Proof of age and parental/guardian consent is required
FORMAT
Basketball at the VFA Summer Games is played 5-on-5, full-court, with separate divisions for each gender.
Competition Structure
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games during the event. Initial games will be scheduled to ensure every team receives multiple competitive matchups before advancing.
Championship Round
Following guaranteed play, teams advance into a single-elimination championship bracket, where each game determines who moves forward. The final rounds are win-or-go-home, culminating in a championship game for each division.
Tie-Breaker Rules
Any tied game will be decided by overtime periods, played until a winner is determined.
