ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The Basketball Tournament at Vegas Summer Games 2026 brings teams from across the city together for a fast-paced, high-energy competition.
Whether you play for a school, a club, or a community team, this event is all about teamwork, effort, and love for the game. It’s open to players of all skill levels and designed to be fun, competitive, and focused on growth both on and off the court.
WHO CAN COMPETE
- Divisions: 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U
- Recreational and Competitive divisions available
- Players of all skill levels are welcome
- Athletes may compete independently or represent a school, club, or academy
- Proof of age and parental/guardian consent is required
FORMAT
Game Types:
- Boys: 5-on-5 full-court basketball
- Girls: 3-on-3 half-court basketball
Game Style: Single-elimination bracket for each gender
Rounds: Multiple rounds leading to semifinals and finals
Game Length:
- Boys: Two 20-minute halves or 40-minute running clock
- Girls: 10-minute games or first to 21 points (standard 3×3 rules)
Tie Breaker: Overtime periods until a winner is decided
